Rajan Kathet is a Kathmandu-based filmmaker working in both fiction and documentary. He is an alumnus of the DOCNOMADS European Master’s Program, Berlinale Talents, Global Media Makers, and the Video Consortium.

His films No Winter Holidays (2023) and Bare Trees in the Mist (2019) have screened at prestigious festivals, including the Toronto International Film Festival, Sheffield DocFest, DMZ Docs, Tampere Film Festival, Hong Kong International Film Festival, the Taiwan International Documentary Film Festival, Golden Apricot IFF, and Short Shorts Japan, among many others.
