Rosemary Marks

  • Discipline:Producer
  • Program Year:Producing Lab 2003

Bio

Born and raised in London, Marks cut her teeth as a production coordinator on many UK and international productions filming around the world. Her wanderlust ultimately took her to Australia and after producing some 200 TV commercials, many award winning, she returned to her roots as a driving force in the production of Quigley Down Under starring Tom Selleck. She also met her husband to be on the show and they moved to Los Angeles. Marks most recent success has been as the Co-Producer of Thirteen starring Holly Hunter and Evan Rachel Wood. She became a DGA UPM on Henry Jaglom’s Shopping, and also Line Produced Festival in Cannes, Jaglom’s irreverent look at the Cannes Film Festival starring Maximillian Schell, Greta Scacchi, Anouk Aimee and Ron Silver. Deviating from her love of production, Marks added the title Teamster to her resume spending seven months as an Assistant Location Manager on Sony Pictures SWAT. Marks feels that her wide range of experience enables her to be a balanced Producer in the truest sense. She has been further developing her craft as a writer on Life with Oscar, which is her current passion.
