Saagar Gupta is a Mumbai-based film curator, screenwriter, and producer, and co-founder and Artistic Director of the KASHISH Pride Film Festival, South Asia’s leading LGBTQ+ film festival, which he has helped lead for over 16 years. In 2026, he served on the jury of the Teddy Awards at the 76th Berlinale.

He was Senior Programmer at NFDC Film Bazaar in 2022. In 2024, he was selected for the Global Media Makers Fellowship by Film Independent (U.S.) to develop his feature Songs of Eternal Love. His productions have won more than 35 international awards and have screened at over 250 festivals worldwide.
