Samer Z.M. Battikhi is a Jordanian director and screenwriter working in the industry since 2015. He began his career as an assistant director and went on to become one of Jordan’s prominent first assistant directors. He wrote and directed several short films, including ‘Arnoos, Kroka’, and ‘For Good Luck’. He is currently fundraising for his first feature film, The Girl and the Missing Bed, which was selected for the Red Sea Lodge in 2023 and the Rawi Screenwriters Lab in 2024. In 2025, he directed his first television series, Haretna Dayga, which aired on Roya TV in Jordan.
