Sarah Almunyif is a filmmaker from Saudi Arabia. She studied filmmaking at the American University in Dubai and attended La Fémis Film School in Paris. She’s written, directed, and produced several shorts, including “Acceptance”, which was shown at the 2019 Berlinale, and “Twenty-Twenty Faces”, which screened at the Saudi Film Festival in 2020 and at the Misk Art Institute. Her latest produced short, “Blindness,” won Best Short Film at the Saudi Film Festival (2024). Her debut feature, The Middle One, was selected for the 2023 Red Sea Lodge’s program and won three awards at the Saudi Film Festival Market 2024.
