Scott Allan Foster is a producer and writer in Los Angeles who most recently co-produced 1/9, directed by Alfredo De Villa and starring Heather Graham and Billy Baldwin. As co-producer, Foster got De Villa representation at UTA, then had the agency help cast the film. He also rounded together financing for the film, went to New York to work on the physical production, and finally helped secure sales in Asia. He is now co-writing a character-driven thriller that has financing. Foster is also developing several other projects as both producer and writer.

After graduating from Columbia University’s film school in 1999 with a concentration in screenwriting, Foster stayed in New York to work as a reader for Fox Searchlight. He then moved to Los Angeles where he worked at Endeavor and is currently at UTA as an in-house story analyst and second in charge of the Story Department.
