Soudade Kaadan is the writer and director of the feature film Nezouh, which premiered at the Venice International Film Festival in 2022. Her short fiction film “Aziza” won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance 2019, Best Short Fiction Film at Olhar de Cinema in Brazil, and received a Special Mention at Motovun Film Festival in Croatia. Her feature The Day I Lost My Shadow was the Winner of Best Debut Film In Venice Film Festival 2018, the winner of Best Film at the Women in Film and Television Vancouver Film Festival 2019, and the winner of Best Film at the Joburg Film Festival 2018.
