Bio

Sydney Lowe is a creative producer and executive working across TV, film and artist development, with a deep passion for artful and inclusive storytelling. She is Associate Producer of A24/Plan B’s The Last Black Man in San Francisco (Sundance Grand Jury Prize, a President Obama 2019 Favorite Film) and began her career working on the award-winning HBO series Insecure. Previously, Lowe worked at Participant supporting the development of projects at the nexus of art and activism, including Kahlil Joseph’s BLKNWS with A24, and later as Director of Development within Warner Bros. Television. Most recently, she served as Interim Manager of Producing & Artist Support at the Sundance Institute’s Feature Film Program, and is currently Special Projects Consultant at Film Independent, working in partnership with Netflix and FX. A graduate of Wesleyan University, she is a Film Independent Fellow, a WarnerMedia Fellowship Winner and a Time’s Up “Who’s in the Room” Mentee.
