Triparna Banerjee is a screenwriter, director, and producer whose focus is to bring stories from the fringes to the fore that appeal across borders. Her work has been showcased at film festivals like Toronto, Busan, CPH: DOX, Palm Springs, and Rotterdam, and selected at film forums, like L’atelier Cinéfondation at Cannes, HAF at Hong Kong, and APM at BusanIFF. Her short film, Nails, premiered at the Red Sea International Film Festival 2024.

Her writing focuses on character-driven stories rooted in Indian social realities, with a strong focus on gender, and blends genres with tones of magic realism, horror, and thriller.
