Iván Löwenberg is a producer, director, screenwriter, and editor whose two most recent short films, ‘Encounter’ and ‘The Color of the Room’, were nominated for the Mexican Academy Awards (Ariel). ‘I Don’t Want to Be Dust‘, his second feature film, premiered at the Cairo International Film Festival, one of the world’s 15 Category A film festivals. An indie success, it had the longest theatrical run of any film in Mexico in 2024 (18 weeks). In 2025, he edited the feature films ‘Wrinkled Minds’ and ‘Life After Enrique’. He recently completed filming his third feature film, ‘Pyrite‘.
