Film Independent is pleased to welcome agent Brian Goldberg from Worldwide Production Agency, one of the top agencies for below-the-line talent. In an open discussion format, he’ll offer tips and advice for cinematographers, editors and other key creatives on forging a career path in film and television. Topics covered will include assembling a killer show reel; the pros and cons of working for free to build up experience; building a network of contacts and getting work when you don’t have representation; and steps you can take to secure an agent.

Brian J. Goldberg joined WPA’s newly formed Television Division during the height of pilot season in March 2014. Brian represents some of television’s top line producers, editors, cinematographers and production designers, as well as the industry’s next generation of emerging talent. With his prior film experience, Brian also facilitates WPA’s clients’ other passions, such as directing and creative producing, and assists the agency’s feature and commercial clients with crossing over into television.
