Live Read New York: Good Will Hunting

Film Independent’s popular Live Read series is headed to New York City for a second time! Guest director John Krasinski (The Hollars, 13 Hours, Jack Ryan) leads an all-star cast in a live table read of Good Will Hunting, the award-winning 1997 film about a young janitor from South Boston with a gift for mathematics.

There’s only one way to experience this extraordinary event: live and in person as no audio or video recording is allowed. The high-profile talent will be announced by John Krasinski on Twitter in the days leading up to the event.

Past Live Read Guest Directors have included Olivia Wilde, Laurence Fishburne, Seth Rogen, Quentin Tarantino and Paul and Chris Weitz, among others. Jason Reitman is the series creator and Elvis Mitchell is the Film Independent Curator. Good Will Hunting was released theatrically in 1997 and was directed by Gus Van Sant, written by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
