Live Read: Single White Female

Live Read: Single White Female
Experience the glamour, gaslighting and severe personality disorders of Single White Female, the 90’s psychological thriller that defined the “roommate horror” genre in a one-night-only Live Read, in partnership with MUBI, directed by Alex Russell and featuring the incredible cast of LURKER.
The 1992 cult classic Single White Female, written by John Lutz and Don Roos, and directed by Barbet Schroeder, features Bridget Fonda as Allison Jones, a young woman who has just split from her fiancé and welcomes new roommate Hedra Carlson (Jennifer Jason Leigh). The young women become fast friends until Allison starts to consider reuniting with her fiancé, which causes Hedra to become increasingly jealous and hostile. With Hedra growing more menacing by the minute, Allison needs to face the truth of who she has let into her house and life.
Special thanks to Don Roos and Sony Pictures Entertainment for making this event possible.
