Synopsis

Jerry and Joseph Kane‬‭ (Nick Offerman and Jacob Tremblay), are‬ ‭self-ascribed Sovereign Citizens – a group of‬ ‭individuals with a deeply rooted‬ ‭anti-establishment worldview and distrust of‬ ‭authority. As the pair cross the country‬ ‭giving seminars to everyday people on how to‬ ‭subvert the legal system and push back‬ ‭against systems that have continually failed‬ them, their journey brings them into conflict‬ ‭with beloved Police Chief and family man, Jim‬ ‭Bouchart (Dennis Quaid), setting off a tragic‬ ‭chain of events that forces a reckoning with‬ power, principle and the limits of freedom.‬
