Logline
Crazy Love is a Strangely Romantic Comedy that is a refreshing take on love, feminism, queer identity, chosen family, and acceptance.
Synopsis
This story is a fantasy of sorts, one that might seem silly but is full of heartbreak and struggle, one that brings us closer to our humanity even in the face of impossible odds.
Celine is a wild card in the deck of life, a bouncy irrepressible spirit who yells all of her wants and desires as if daring the universe not to listen. She is married to the slightly uptight Tom, a working man and a weekend philosopher who sees it as his responsibility in life to provide for Celine. But Celine does not see fidelity as part of the contract, and strikes up a situationship with Augustus, who gives her all the excitement and passion that she perceives Tom incapable of.
After Celine opens up about her affair and introduces Tom and Augustus, Tom at first condemns the love triangle he didn’t sign up for, but he and Augustus unexpectedly bond over lengthy weed-smoking sessions in which they discuss life, the universe and everything Celine. Soon even their burgeoning bromance begins to slide beyond the platonic. They grow closer as they find themselves deciding together how to best care for the runaway train heading towards a brick wall that is the woman they both love.

Katy Frame — Cinematographer
Katy Frame: I am a director, cinematographer, editor, gaffer and content creator based in Brooklyn, NY. Prior to film making, I performed all around the world as an actress and comedian. I bring my years of performance experience with me on set, which is a huge advantage when working with actors, directors and creative people.
I am a “one man band” of sorts able to direct, shoot, light and edit and can do any combination of those for your next project. Because I am able to perform any or all of those positions, I can help keep your production costs low. I also have my own equipment rental, (see the equipment tab on this site) which aids in keeping your project affordable.
In the past I have worked in various roles (filming, directing, editing, content creating…) for companies such as the New York Post, Elle Magazine and ArtGrid and for clients such as the Biden/Harris campaign and the Essential Workers Union. I have also shot, lit and edited many short films, music videos, and pilots for TV/Webseries.
