Logline
When the one who matters most is lost, the bounty on a man’s life isn’t enough.
Synopsis
On the fringe of civilization,1870s Texas, life can be brutal.
Still mourning the loss of his runaway wife and murdered son, Lane Scott pursues one of the outlaws he believes to be responsible. Old acquaintances, joined by a recently widowed mother and son come along on the journey to deliver justice and find redemption.

Meet the Filmmakers
Eric H. Heisner — Writer/Director/Actor
Eric H. Heisner is a writer, actor, & filmmaker based in Austin, Texas. A graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a B.A. in Directing & Screenwriting, he resided in Los Angeles for two decades while working in the film industry. From a production assistant to Dustin Hoffman, to acting roles on the History Channel and other major film productions, Eric earned his spurs as a cowboy character actor and member of the Algonquin Cowboys (Professionals in the film community who work in the Western genre). Since transitioning to Texas, Eric has built up a film-friendly movie location – Gemini Movie Ranch, on the rural property, Rancho Castellano, he shares with his wife and children.
Robert Gamperl — Cinematographer
Robert Gamperl is a cinematographer with a deep love for storytelling, classic Westerns, and the timeless style of Film Noir. After years of traveling, he was drawn to the rugged beauty of Utah & Texas, which soon became the perfect backdrop for his own Western projects. His recent films, Stubborn and Darlin’, have earned more than 23 awards and over 40 selections at film festivals around the world. In all his work, Robert blends a strong visual sensibility with a passion for authentic, cinematic storytelling — always chasing the balance between atmosphere, emotion, and truth.
Travis Lee Eller — Actor
Travis Lee Eller is an actor & filmmaker based in Los Angeles. He has had acting roles in numerous film productions including the series Lethal Weapon. Travis can currently be seen in Season 1 & 2 of Elkhorn on the INSP Network. He is also the founder, creator & designer of the custom western hat brand, Ugly Outlaw Hats.
Gary Hubb — Assistant Director
Gary Hubb is an acclaimed director and producer best known for Before the Lighthouse (2025), and the award-winning film Reactionary (2010), a powerful story about the war in Afghanistan. With a career spanning in film and television, he also serves as Production Manager on over 20 major network TV productions.
