A young woman chasing her dreams is pulled into the Pandora’s box of bipolar disorder and must define a new normal for herself.

Synopsis

Andrea has been obsessed with the 40’s and 50’s costume designs and the stars that wore them. And now it’s all she dreams of – to be Costume Designer for the silver screen and find a real love. Andrea hits some bumps in the road and comes to learn that she has undiagnosed bipolar disorder. Her world and her concept of herself is turned upside down. She takes on the disorder, finding her passion for love and art as she must define a new normal for herself.

Paying tribute to the classic cinema that inspired Andrea’s dreams, we journey through Andrea’s everyday menagerie of thoughts, imagination, and emotions…which all escalate in a time of crisis. We follow her internal dialogue as she engages in imaginary conversations with golden-era Hollywood actresses she loved and was inspired by, only to find these actresses increasingly take on a different voice…the voice of her bipolar disorder as it worsens. As Andrea’s bipolar takes on these aspirational personas, manipulating Andrea’s decisions, we see her struggle against herself as she battles to win the flight… it will take everything in her to get her life back on track – before she’s burned everything she cares about down to the ground.
