Avo John Kambourian is an award-winning editor and filmmaker from Los Angeles. He is a 2025 Film Independent Project Involve Editing Fellow. While earning his MFA from USC School of Cinematic Arts, his passion for filmmaking grew into a love for editing and helping filmmakers bring their stories to the screen. In 2024, Neither Donkey, Nor Horse, a short film he co-edited, premiered at Telluride Film Festival and was awarded with a Student Academy Award. He is currently editing his first animated short film, ChikaBOOM, from award winning writer-director C. Craig Patterson.
