Courtney Loo is a writer, director and entrepreneur. Her narrative short films include Slick Talk (SXSW 2023) and Post Office (Slamdance 2021). Loo is a 2025 Sundance Asian American Fellow, 2024 Sundance Screenwriting Fellow and 2023 Almanack Screenwriting Fellow. She is currently developing her debut feature film, Bangbang Teahouse. In the advertisement space, Loo has directed numerous commercials and music videos for notable brands and artists. In addition to her filmmaking career, Loo is an entrepreneur in the music industry. She co-founded Thrice Cooked, a media company that manages multi-platinum musicians and provides label services for independent artists worldwide.
