Emanuel Lavor is a Brazilian filmmaker with a degree in Performing Arts from the University of Brasília and a Master’s in Screenwriting from EICTV (Cuba). He is developing his debut feature, The Jaguar. Selected for the Global Media Makers Residency by Film Independent (2025) and Berlinale Talents (where he also participated in the Script Station, 2024), he took part in the Paradiso Incubator (2024) under the mentorship of Céline Sciamma. His short The Beads, co-directed with Rafaela Camelo, premiered at Berlinale Shorts (2023).
