Hicham Lasri is a storyteller and conceptual artist from Casablanca. His debut feature, The End (2011), was critically acclaimed. They are the Dogs (2013) reached Arab and western audiences. The Sea Behind (2015) was screened in Berlinale and won numerous awards. Starve Your Dog (2015) premiered at Toronto Film Festival and Berlinale. HEAdbANG Lullaby (2017) screened in the Berlinale. He directed the Moroccan story in the Netflix anthology Love Life and Everything Else. As a seasoned writer, director, novelist and comic book creator, his work always challenges and aims to restore humanity and freedom.
