Priye Diri is a Nigerian writer and director whose work explores gender, power, and the lives of women navigating complex social realities. She directed the feature films Rule Number 1 (Africa Magic) and Chimera (IrokoTV), and wrote the Amazon Prime feature, Kill Boro. Her body of films often tackles themes of social justice, Feminism, and political corruption. She previously served as a Story Editor on the Africa Magic series; Wings, and has written for television. Priye is an alumnus of the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg international Class Germany, Film Independent Global Media Makers Fellow, Mandela Washington Fellow, and Ford Global Fellow 2026.
