For filmmakers, color decisions about their projects often begin prior to shooting and travel through to the final stages of post-production. Independent creators with an understanding of color grading workflow are at a distinct advantage when prepping, budgeting, shooting and scheduling their post-production workflow.

We’re excited to present a color grading demonstration with Natasha Leonnet (Senior Colorist, Picture Shop). The evening will focus on the role of color in the art of filmmaking, with Leonnet drawing upon her own experiences and work as both colorist and teacher, to illuminate how extraordinary color can be in helping to emphasize both story and emotion within the visual art of cinema.

Leonnet’s recent credits include Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Mulan, Candyman, Cocaine Bear and Robert Rodriguez’s upcoming film Hypnotic starring Ben Affleck, which will be showing at the Cannes Film Festival. You can follow her work on Instagram via @natashaleonnet and @pictureshop.

This class takes place on site at Picture Shop, and space is limited for this event – please register only if you plan on attending. Registration closes on Monday, May 29 at 6:00 pm PT.
