Lisa Stacilauskas has acted as camera operator and second unit DP on over 20 features and MOWs for Hallmark Channel, Spike TV, Disney Channel, and numerous independent productions. She has shot numerous short films, documentaries, and reality shows including Trysting, winner of a DGA Award and a student Emmy; Prescription for Happiness; and Bird Fan, which premiered at the Vail Film Festival in 2007. After receiving a BA in Communications and French from the University of Michigan, Stacilauskas spent several years traveling. She later moved to Los Angeles to attend film school at Art Center College of Design, where she earned an MFA in Cinematography. She is inspired by rapid advancements in technology opening doors for filmmakers. She seeks projects that are meaningful and visually interesting. Current projects include several short films and the feature Thursday’s Speaker, which is slated to begin shooting in Summer 2010.
