Following the philosophy that ‘experience is life’s best teacher’, Wendy Guerrero is excited to be producing her first feature. After spending many years producing and directing theatre in Los Angeles and New York she took a job as Bruce Dern’s assistant. This relationship allowed her to cultivate a real passion for independent film and thus the organic process of becoming a producer began. When Dern decided to step behind the camera and form his own production company with partner Ashley Reed, they trusted Guerrero to head up the shingle. Dern and Guerrero have been working for the past year on developing a slate of films for the company. Their first project is Hart’s Location.
