Going on the Road
Following the success of the inaugural year of Film Independent Presents: Always Remember, we’re expanding the series with a new initiative… Always Remember on the Road. This new iteration expands the reach of the program with in-person community screenings, paired with virtual screenings to reach audiences nationally and globally.
More details about this year’s programming coming soon.
At a time when Holocaust awareness is at an all-time low and levels of antisemitism are on the rise, our commitment to Always Remember is more important now than ever.
2025 Program
The first year of Always Remember featured a six-month series of free, virtual screenings designed to raise Holocaust awareness through cinema. The titles included a mix of feature-length and short films; both animated and live action, fiction and nonfiction.
These films amplify unique voices and experiences relating to the Holocaust, highlighting LGBTQ+ stories, women’s perspectives, stories of resistance, youth experiences and more. A number of exclusive filmmaker interviews were included to help viewers dive even deeper into the material.
