Bridget Savage Cole

Bio

Originally from salty Beverly, Massachusetts, Bridget Savage Cole grew up working on her Dad’s construction crew and serving tourists at seaside restaurants. She attended Wesleyan University where she discovered a passion for choreography and cinematography and began shooting projects with DIY vigor. Moving to New York City, Bridget found herself creating videos for Nylon Magazine, and later shooting and directing short films, fashion films and music videos for bands such as Haerts and Future Islands. In 2011, she was selected to participate in AFI’s Directing Workshop for Women, through which she directed the award-winning short film “OowieWanna,” co-written by Danielle Krudy.

In 2013, Savage Cole joined the roster of M ss ng P eces, where she has directed exuberant branded content and national commercials. She is also a passionate advocate for industry change, serving on the AICP’s Commercial Directing Diversity Committee. Savage Cole recently directed a new short, “Swell,” starring Britt Lower and Gabriel Luna which is being developed into a series with Refinery 29.
