Bio

Katie is an NYC-based filmmaker and member of the Motion Picture Editors’ Guild, currently editing the limited series revival of Dexter. Selected credits include The Americans, City on a Hill, and the independent film Sister Aimee (Sundance 2019). Our Last Summer will be Katie’s feature debut, it was selected to participate in the 2020 IFP Week Project Forum. The proof of concept shot, “Last Summer with Uncle Ira” premiered at Outfest 2020 and has received multiple awards. Katie began her career in production, working as a set PA, and holds a BS in Film and Television Production from Boston University.

Westchester, Summer 1991. When his gay uncle Ira returns home dying of complications from HIV/AIDS, closeted teenager Daniel Rosen travels a bumpy road to self-acceptance and first love.
